Cards of Christ

Cards of Christ is a greeting card ministry that began at Bethel in February 2018. We first designed a card to be mailed to our first time visitors. The second goal was to mail cards monthly to encourage the shut ins and chronically ill in our congregation. We are also able to do mailings to the entire congregation on Valentines and Easter.

Beginning of 2019 we added sympathy, get well cards to the monthly mailings to let those people know they were being lifted in prayer. In the Spring, we were made aware of members who had someone in their families in prison, they are now receive monthly mailings that include scriptures as well.

Moving forward we hope to add widows and widowers to the monthly mailers. We are also designing cards to go the first responder stations in our area for the various holidays. We hope to expand our list of volunteers and make more cards available for birthday and anniversary mailings as well.

This fully volunteer ministry is funded by donations from church members and local businesses. It is our intention to mail custom made cards each time. If that is not possible, we mail cards that we have acquired through donations.
