Being a 5-2 church means we are committed to the biblical principle of giving our gifts and talents to Jesus, letting him bless and break them to feed the multitudes of hungry. This is accomplished by our wonderful volunteer ministry partners. Ministry partners who are committed to using their gifts and talents from administration, service, teaching, working in the ministries of the church, even to the maintenance of the building. All with one purpose and passion to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to a hungry world, meeting the needs of the people around us. If you have a gift, a talent, and feel lead to join this group of ministry partners-THERE IS A PLACE FOR YOU!

David & Heidi Fields
Senior Pastor
Pastor David and Heidi met at Evangel University in the fall of 1996, and have been together ever since. Married since 1999, David and Heidi have three children: Michael, Katelyn, and Joshua. Throughout their marriage David and Heidi have volunteered and served the churches where they attended wherever and whenever help was needed.
In 2003, Pastor David received his call into ministry and the family moved Springfield, Missouri to begin training. The Fields family has been actively serving in full-time vocational ministry since 2005 at churches in Illinois, Missouri, and Iowa. Their ministerial philosophy is simple: Love people where they are at. Not where we or anyone else thinks they should be.
Pastor David obtained a Master of Divinity degree from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary, a Master of Arts in Theatre (Missouri State University), and is currently working towards obtaining a PhD in Organizational Leadership from Indiana Wesleyan University. Heidi is a Nurse Practitioner in the St. Louis area.
